Cement Manufacturing company, Emami Cement has commissioned its grinding plant at Panagarh in West Bengal, on 23 March, 2017. The grinding plant, constructed at an investment of around Rs 700 crore, in 13 months, has a capacity of two million tpa. The project is expected to generate direct and indirect employment to over 500 people.
Emami has commissioned its 2Mta cement grinding unit at the Panagarh Industrial Park in the Burdwan district of West Bengal, India. The INR7bn (US107m) works has been developed on a 65acre site and is part of the, cement production complex.
